Hey there I am so sorry that I am so slack about updating this but we will see if I can get better this academic year. As for me I am doing quite well and have recovered fully from our marathon trip over the seas, as for Ally I am not sure if she will ever recover from the family and Bigfork ;) haha but we shall see.
I have officially enrolled in my second year of Uni and have no plans of stopping this course for a new one. I am enjoying my education, too much perhaps and am very excited to go back. I have organized my timetable and am excited for the classes that I get to take. I have been actually reading a lot and doing tons of research about education lately and am so excited to get to be a teacher with my own classroom and little kiddos. People ask me what year level that I would like to teach when I finish my course in 3 years and honestly I couldn't tell you. Every level of the school age excites me. Lately I have been thinking about Prep (Kindergarten) and thought that that would be quite exciting to teach little ones things that they have never known before that just amazes me and would be great. But then again the middle years would be awesome, so many possibilities and then there are the upper years where there is so much to learn and so many fun things to do so we shall see where the jobs are available I guess.
As for Ally, I walked her to school this morning (like almost 2 minutes away it was a tough trod) for her 3rd day of school. She is slightly nervous still but settling in very well. She is teaching 4th grade at her old primary school so that is beyond exciting, apart from the commute to see each other and the fact that I work all weekend and naturally she has the weekends off haha but we'll work something out.
Oh and the beach, it has been pretty warm since we've been back and we've taken a couple of trips to the beach and as I was swimming through the waves all I could think of was...at least it's not snowing suckers! haha We took Molly (Ally's parents 6 month old German Shepard) and we got her to finally get into the water for a swim. This is after we had to convince her that the 2 month old border collie wasn't going to kill her (she's not quite as vicious as the 'German Shepard' title would entail haha)
Over all I am dong well, Ally is doing well, and other than the chewing of EVERYTHING Molly is doing well too. More info to come thanks for reading.
